how i make my life work for me

I initially said NO to this excercise, being in some bulls**t space around my life NOT working and not having time to give you men my best. Then I thought best what... best BULLS**T about the success I have and how YOU should do it!!?!? I DONTHINSO (Ricky Ricardo, ya' know).
So, the truth is what I will give, no bulls**t.
The way I make my life work for me is to constantly do whatever the F@#K I wanna do. I drink coffee all day long. You see, believe it or not, this allows me to enjoy a good nap at 10am then around 3ish and maybe even again 7. Caffine and nicotine work all sorts of wonders for the 44 year old body.
I get to chat on the phone with soooo many of the men in my life, and be of service to them. I get to pay overdraft fees, late fees and know that people owe me money. It works great, to keep my money in my pocket or in the invoice section of my “outgoing" mail. Then I don't spend it, get it? I have the opportunity to always have something to do tomorrow! After all, I am a very busy man. Busy moving my tools around so I can get to another tool. Busy looking through the receipts on my desk, or my dresser or the truck or just gathering them before the next phone call so I can push them aside.
OK, the problem with the written word is, sarcasm is difficult to write. I am a “CONSTRUCTOR” (your welcome, Batiste). I build, I supervise, I am a General Contractor. I am as lost as an Easter egg and I am always moving forward…in my mind. So, how do I make MY life work for ME?! I step up, I reach out, I recognize I do NOT know how to do it and sometimes… just sometimes… I ask for help.
I am better now than I have ever been before. I want to do more than before. I want to work at it more than ever before. I work to be the best man I can be. I wake up every morning with a plan. I go to bed every night with a better plan. The application of those plans is where my challenge lies.
When I write a to do list, it can overwhelm me because of how much there is to and, it is rarely finished at the end of the day, so the list is even larger the next day. Soon, I leave the list making alone.
I work to be the best man I can be. I assess the daily situations and am an effective "fire fighter". I excel at shooting from the hip. I am a problem solver. I am solution oriented... except when it comes to staying the course. It seems to me I still act as the adolescent. That sucks and all this rambles, this is my truth.
Some of you have heard me say it, and I mean it… THANK YOU. You raise the bar for me. THAT is the TRUTH, and THAT is how I make MY life work FOR ME.
