David Dressler

Dressler
Full Name: David Dressler
Age: 43
Single or Married: Married.
# of Kids: Expecting our daughter in March, our first kid.
Profession: Co-Founder of Tender Greens Restaurants
What are 3 personal goals you have in your life?
1. Healthy, Happy Kids
2. Complete Financial Freedom
3. Time to fully enjoy both
What are you most passionate about outside of MDI?
1. I am madly in love with my wife. Our relationship is a great source of and direction for my passion.
2. I really love the company my partners and I have created along with our amazing team. Knowing that we are building the kind of place that brings happiness to people and enriches lives is a huge win for me.
3. I love acquiring spiritual wisdom; be that in my pursuit of the divine, the study of tantra (my newest passion) or just hanging out with heart-centered people more learned than me.
What is your biggest strength?
I think I have a good analytical mind and an open heart.
Biggest weakness / challenge?
Being too analytical and allowing my heart to become closed.
What do you want the men to know about you?
My father was a Holocaust Survivor who joined the resistance after being orphaned at nine years of age. He was responsible for rescuing hundreds of children on "kinder transport" trains from Germany and Belgium. He was an avid lover of classical music and art. He taught me to be sensitive to manifestations of beauty. As a result, I often cry when I listen to music, see depictions of love or witness stories of people overcoming adversity.
What do you NOT want the men to know about you?
I am afraid of flying insects and have a bit of an aversion to touching door handles.
Who are the 3 Men, not related to you, that have inspired you the most in your life and why?
I could pick Thic Nat Han or Joseph Campbell or Alan Watts or any number of great thinkers I don't personally know, but at the end of the day, while not limited to three men, the men on my team are the men who inspire me the most . It took a men's team and their support, wisdom and example to give me the resources that had eluded me for most of my adult life; consistent contact with honorable men, an appreciation for the differences between men and women and the awareness to step fully into my role as a strong, present and three-dimensional man.
