Dockweiler Beach
Address: 12650 Vista Del Mar CA 90293 Go inside the gate turn right to the first parking lot and then go to the left end and park by fire pits.
Link: MAP

Special Features: Beach and fire pits.
Why is this a great site? This is a great big beach with many fire pits that are far enough apart to have privacy. This is a great site for ceremony, feeling the beauty of the ocean and fire to circle up around. Also great for a midnight swim in the ocean. This site is best in the winter, since the beach is such a major destination in the Summer.

Virginia Avenue Park
Address: 2200 Virginia Ave, off Pico, between Cloverfield and 20th in Santa Monica
Link: MAP
Privacy: 3
Noise/Distractions: There’s usually a basketball game going on, but they aren’t paying attention to us, occasionally couples walking their dog, once saw a fitness/tai chi class going on. But usually it’s pretty quiet and safe.
Special Features: Basketball courts, clean spacious flat grass areas, jungle gym and playground equipment surrounded by sand. Great for fun and physicals.
Why is this a great site? It’s a pristine site, centrally located on the Westside. It’s usually very empty, private and safe in the grass areas. Always enough parking. Surrounded on the north and east sides by dense trees, which make for good piss break areas. The flat, green grass area is always in good shape for soccer, Frisbee, football, etc.

Palms Park
Address: 2920 Overland Ave, Los Angeles, CA
(1/4 mile north of 10 FWY, Overland exit from the east or National-to-Overland exit from the west)
Link: MAP
Privacy: 3 in the warm months, especially Summer, 4-5 as it gets colder and gets darker earlier.
Noise/Distractions: 4
Special Features: Large grassy area, full playground (for creative fun and physicals), basketball court, good parking.
Why is this a great site? Easy to find, and centrally located. Easy to park. Versatile. You can have your team split in two, and have two team meetings without bumping into or overhearing each other.
My biggest problem with this site is that it gets busy in the Summer, with people walking their dogs on the grass, and playing on the playground, and the mosquitoes are fierce in those hot months. Otherwise, an awesome site.
