the testosterone project
lesson #3:
how testosterone is made
A small percentage of testosterone is made in the adrenal glands on top of our kidneys. But the lion’s share — 95% of it — is made in our testicles. The process by which our testicles produce T resembles a Rube Goldberg contraption, except instead of mice and desk fans moving the process along, our body uses hormones. Today we’re going to look into the different kinds of testosterone that exist and how our body produces it. Grasping how testosterone works will help us understand why our own levels may be low and what we can do to boost it in our bodies. click here to go to article >> |

Men, This weekend I traveled to Springfield, MA. For those of you that watched any of the news this weekend, you probably saw that this area got pounded with snow. As a result, 2 1/2 hours into our 3 day event, we got shutdown, our participants were sent home and we spent the next 3 days playing in the snow. Check out this video I made to capture the occasion. intro to leadership training
This is the new incarnation of what used to be Basic Leadership Training (BLT).
Any member who has not completed BLT will find this to be an excellent
introduction to many of the essential concepts and tools of MDI.
This is also a great way to introduce men who are not members to MDI.

a new mens team has formed
with cohen & seli on tuesday nights
You are invited to take part in a new men’s team that has just formed. The team will be meeting each Tuesday night at 8pm. The men who are joining this team are men who traditionally cannot attend every team meeting, but who want to be part of a team and who are willing to be committed to the team and the men’s division. The main goal for this team is to support men to be successful in their lives. COHEN has stepped up to lead this team.
So far, Seli and Talamantes have joined Cohen bringing the start of the team at 3 men. Men who travel for business, or who have challenging work or family commitments are invited to join this team as long as they are committed to staying connected to the men when they are not physically attending a normal scheduled team meeting. This is a team for men who may not regularly be able to attend every team meeting, but who are willing to stay in relationship with their men, the team leader and live by the standards of the team and the division. As we are up to three men, we have room for an additional 8-10 men. If you are a man who is committed to being on a fully functional and successful men’s team, then WE WANT YOU!! (Remember to complete with your current team). Our FIRST TEAM MEETING is on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19 at 8PM. We will be meeting at Cohen’s office. The address is: 2530 WILSHIRE BLVD, SANTA MONICA (Lobby of the VERIZON store). You do not need chairs and we will be meeting indoors. Please Call COHEN (Team Leader) at 310-701-1950 to confirm your attendance. You are also welcome to visit our team to decide if you like what you see. See you there! Cohen, Team Leader |

31 characteristics of leadership
andrew carnegie's guide to great leadership

Napolean Hill, author of "Think and Grow Rich" considered the turning point in his life to have occurred in the year 1908 with his assignment, as part of a series of articles about famous and successful men, to interview the industrialist Andrew Carnegie. At the time, Carnegie was one of the most powerful men in the world. Hill discovered that Carnegie believed that the process of success could be outlined in a simple formula that anyone would be able to understand and achieve.
Andrew Carnegie breaks down these 31 qualities that in his words "are capable of development and application by any person of average intelligence."
